B.Ed TESL Cohort 2 Graduating Ceremony 2009

 
  The second B.Ed TESL graduating ceremony was held on the 30th May 2009 and was officiated by Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Haji Alimuddin bin Mohd Dom, Director-General of Education, Malaysia. Yang Berbahagia Datin Asariah Mior Shaharuddin, Deputy-Director General of Education, Malaysia, and Mr Abdul Halim bin Abd Razak, Deputy Director of Teacher Education Division, Malaysia together with representatives from the overseas twinnng partners were among the distinguished guests in the ceremony.  
 

To start with the ceremony, Mdm Satinah Syed Saleh, Acting Director of IPGM-KBA delivered her welcoming speech. It was followed by Professor Wendy Patton, Executive Dean, Faculty of Education, Queensland University of Technology, who delivered her speech on behalf of the five partner universites. Thereafter, the guest of honour, Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Alimuddin bin Mohd Dom, Director-General of Education, Malaysia was invited to deliver his speech and officiate the ceremony.

There were 122 graduands and graduates who received degree certificates and letters of congratulations in the ceremony. They were:

graduates from University of Ackland, New Zealand

In the ceremony, special awards and certificates were also presented to graduates who passed with first class honours or equivalent.
