AWARD  
     
  GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE AWARD  
     
Awardees of fellowship/ scholarship shall conduct themselves at all times in a responsible manner, and in accordance with the regulations of the training institution.
Awardees shall follow the course of study approved for them. No applications to change courses will be entertained.
Awardees shall sit for all examinations as required by the training institution.Awardees are not allowed to participate in any political or commercial activity in any capacity whatsoever.
This fellowship shall not be held concurrently with any other scholarship award.
Awardees shall not take up paid employment during the tenure of their fellowship or serve as official representatives of their country when in Malaysia unless approved by the Public Services Department, Malaysia
An award may be terminated at any time for reasons of unsatisfactory conduct, breach of terms and conditions of the award or failure to make satisfactory progress.
Awardees will be required to return to their own countries upon completion of the course or at the end of the tenure of the fellowship, whichever is earlier.
Awardees are not allowed to bring along their spouses/families for the duration of the course.
 
  Board and Lodging  
     
  Food and lodging will be provided for the duration of the course. In addition, participants will receive a daily allowance of RM20  
     
  Fares  
     
  An economy class return air ticket from the capital city of the participant's country to Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, will be provided by IPBA, EXCEPT participants from Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Mexico and Croatia. Other expenses such as visa fees and departure tax from the capital city of the participant's country will be borne by the participant. However, the departure tax from Kuala Lumpur will be borne by IPBA.  
     
Tuition fees
 
Tuition fees will be borne by the Government of Malaysia.
 
Medical and Dental Treatment
 
Participants should be certified medically fit in order to participate in this programme. Any medical and dental expenses incurred in a government hospital/clinic while in Malaysia will be borne by the Malaysian Government. In case of admission to government hospitals, participants will be eligible for first class wards (two bedded or more). Dental treatment is restricted to extraction and filling only.
